Though there are lots of places here for my personal tale of woe to surface; briefly, I am a PSU Graduate, survivor of CKD/ESRD, and an avid advocate for the advancement of agency in actuality.
That is, I compel this endeavor, and all the light that comes from it, to be as much about other creators as it is about me. I will make this be a place of connection and love in a world people too often find dreary, and replete with suffering and isolation - imagined or otherwise.
I know I will create stories that provide the same tools that helped me walk through the harrowing paths I had to cross in life, that provided me a visage of a reality where something better was possible, and I know that I will be but one of the many people this endeavor attracts that changes the world.
In parting, I ask that you exercise empathy, if not to others, then at least to yourself, and know that there are people in this life who you have made better, and who believe in you.
